About a foot of snow has fallen in places around Jefferson County since yesterday morning, said John Denman, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service???s office in Louisville.The official snow level at Louisville International Airport is about 9 inches but several areas have accumulations of 12 inches, he said.That???s the heaviest snowfall Louisville has had since a three-day storm dropped 22 inches in February 1998, according to weather service records.It???s the heaviest March snow storm since 1968 when the area got a foot of snow in a day.
